Yisha Yu our registered psychologist is available to provide assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults troubled by low mood, excessive daily worries, work and study stress, social anxiety, panic attacks, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. Yisha graduated with first class honours in Psychology from University of Sydney in 2010, and is in the final stages of completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University, having completed the equivalent of a Masters level in 2012.She is currently a clinical psychologist registrar until this is completed.
Yisha has worked in a variety of hospital, tertiary and community settings to support the mental health needs of children, adolescents and adults. Yisha has worked as a child and adolescent research psychologist at Macquarie University's Emotional Health Clinic for three years and is experienced in facilitating 'Chilled' and 'Cool Kids program for children and teens in both individual and group settings. She currently works part-time at the Rhodes Family Practice and spends her other time working in the mood disorders unit and acute mental health unit of Northside Clinic, a private psychiatric hospital on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
