Rhodes Family Practice is a mixed billing practice.
Gap fee*: Consultation Fees, All Saturday appointments, Medical procedures
Short (< 15 mins) : $45 gap
Long (20-30mins ) : $50
Extended ( 30 mins +) : $55
Bulk billed*: Children under 16
Nurse appointments: (bulk billed) e.g. vaccinations
* Billings are at discretion of the individual doctors and subject to change

Standard consults are 15 minutes, usually this appointment caters for 1 major issue or 2 minor issues.
If you wish to discuss multiple or complex issues, we encourage you to book long appointment, 30mins duration.
Consultations are privately billed.

Blue book childhood check-ups, which include vaccinations require a 30min appointment to complete.
Please choose Childhood Vaccinations as the appointment type when booking.

We offer a range of minor procedures including cryotherapy, ear wax removal, implanon and IUD insertion, iron infusions and ingrown toenail resection.
Procedures incur a gap fee. Prior consultation with your doctor is required.

Walk-in for blood tests and specimen collections by 4 Cyte Path
Please bring your pathology referral, all referrals welcomed.
Bookings required for Glucose Challenge Test, Urea Breath Test, ECG, Holter monitor and 24-Hour Ambulatory BP Monitoring.
Arrange a follow up appointment with your referring doctor to discuss your results.

We offer childhood, catch-up and government vaccinations, as well as travel and other private vaccinations.

We offer 30min nurse led clinics for various health assessments including 30+ heart health check, 45-49 health check, 75+ health check, menopause assessment and chronic disease management.

In collaboration with the doctors, we offer wound dressings, stitch removal, iron infusions and other small procedures.
My Medicare
My Medicare was introduced in 2023, as part of Strengthening Medicare, it is a voluntary registration to formally link with your regular GP.
To enable your GP to provide greater continuity of care, we encourage you to register.
My Medicare patients can access Chronic Disease Management Plans, Mental Health Care Plans , unrestricted telehealth consults [ even if your last attendance was greater than 1 yr ago ] and longer telehealth consults.
To support ongoing bulk billing for children under 16, pensioners and concession holders, , the government offer triple bulk billing incentives.
Correspondence with hospital teams will be easier as your registered GP can be identified on My Health Record systems.
